Class Format and Schedule

The CNA program is delivered in a hybrid format and takes place over 4 to 6 weeks. The first 8 days of instruction are classroom-based, held on-site from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Clinical locations may include skilled nursing facilities in Oakland, Alameda, El Cerrito, San Leandro, Berkeley, and surrounding areas.

Students are expected to maintain a strict attendance policy, with only one excused absence allowed for theory and one for clinical sessions. Missed clinicals must be made up at a cost of $200 per day. Appropriate attire, including white nursing scrubs and white tennis shoes, is mandatory for both classroom and clinical sessions.
