PASS Institute

Quick Program Overview:

Program Format and Curriculum

PASS Institute offers a 4-week Nurse Assistant Training Program (NATP) that meets the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) requirements, combining 60 hours of in-person theory and 100 hours of in-person clinical training. Students learn essential patient care skills to work in long-term care and residential health settings under the scope of a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).

The program is divided into:

  • Part 1: Classroom Theory (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM weekdays)
  • Part 2: Clinical Training at Concord-based facilities like Stonebrooke Rehab Center or Windsor Manor

Clinical rotations require travel and attendance flexibility. The total training runs about 4 weeks, with theory classes first, followed by 13 days of clinicals.
